Gennie Shauer: Most brush and applicator companys will offer a display with your purchase of tools. Buy it and use it.Your sales people need to know what tools to use with what paint, and which paint to use on what surfaces. Either get a guide from your paint supplier or write your own and make sure each customer has a copy. Feel free to quiz them. Run a contest for a month with a cash prize (maybe a $20 gift card to a local lunch spot) for the person who sells the most accessories. Keep a running list of who has sold how much in the break room.Have a sign made up to post by your paint : Do you have: brushes, rollers, drop cloths, paint tape? To get the most professional results, ask your salesperson about these tools today.You can always offer a free brush or roll of tape with every 2 gallons of paint....Show more
