Kenneth Blacker: No and the people around where we live are against it. This will not be the last of of such stimulus, from my understanding they are planning another 1 trillion stimulus later. There is so much pork in this stimulus, it is crazy. I know people need help, but as a governor said today, this money is not creating jobs for ! his so much as it is keeping people employed, and this is exactly what is going to happen. Companies will still not be able to create new jobs, they will use it to keep workers employed and at best it will only create temp jobs, but you have to keep this money out of the pockets of the execs, which is what they will do again. Giving huge amounts of money to people who already have huge amounts is not going to help us, it will not help us pay our mortgages, it will not help us put food on the table, it will not help us pay our bills. The money going for taxes will be taken out of the economy and not used to buy goods, services, pay raises, etc. and they will be passed along to the poor and middle class as higher priced goods.Also, It's $250,00 today, $150,000 tomorrow, by the end of his presidency it will be $60,000.Also, Obama will let the Bush tax cuts expire.
