Brittanie Zakutney: I personally would not hire someone with out references no matter what their qualifications. I'm sure you do have references that you could use that would speak to your character. YOu could ask a good friends parent or a teacher perhaps one of the teachers at the school you have been working at. Anybody that has known you for a long period of time could be a character reference. that plus your background should be enough to land you a job.
Joesph Smithmyer: You definitely can be a babysitter. Parents will trust you because you're CPR certified and you have experience with kindergarten and first grade. Plus, you're in college. A lot of parents don't like hiring teenagers in high school, so being in college will be helpful in finding a babysitting job. You actually sound like a perfect babysitter, so don't worry about it. :)
Miguel Densley: You have to start somewhere. People always want people with references but you can't get references! if no one gives you a job first.
Ileen Oshell: What your majoring in will boost you in getting a job, just add to the resume first aid and cpr (specially for children). If you don't have a certificate (updated) get one. It should help along with your schooling
