Arlen Decorte: depends are you talking climate or biological, let me assume biological, it just means things that live in the sea and whats around them, what impacts marine environment? temperature pollution, volcanoes umm invasive species humans etc..
Agustina Stimmel: You have a very diverse ecosystem in the oceans, its all intertwined and very fragile. Like already noted the coral is important but so too is Plankton. It is the key food source for almost everything from sardines and small squid through to the worlds biggest mammals the Blue Whale.
Luke Kosch: a "marine envroment" in the context you are asking about, such as the oil in the gulf crisis, is anything that is in or touched by the water. mostly we are talking about the animals, fish, birds, turtles, shrimp, and the like. but also things like reefs. and also anything on land that is affected by the water. the shore, and animals on shore. birds that feed off of fish in the sea, and so on.
Dem! etrius Coaster: Simply put: A marine environment is anything and everything that is on, in, or around the water... Happy & Safe Boating,John
