If you want to do 3D animation you can use Blender 3D, an excellent freeware program.After Effects does good animation and special effectsOr you can be old school and mount your camera on a tripod and make a series of images.You can do stop motion by using clay by taking a picture and moving it a bit and taking another picture.Or you can have fun with your friends and make pixelated animation by having them hold a pose, you take a picture, then they move just a little bit and you take another picture, and so on till you have told a story.Then you can take all the frames and drop them into a program like windows movie maker, and edit them and add titles.Go to the library and they will have books on different ways to do animation....Show more
